When I received the invitation to learn more about the renovated Miramonte Resort in Indian Wells at the Farmhouse Restaurant in Roger’s Gardens, I was all over it. First, because I was familiar with Indian Wells from past visits to Palm Springs and the desert and second because I had heard so many good things about Farmhouse. So imagine my delight when, in addition, to the fabulous setup, I found myself in the company of some of my favorite bloggers.
The Farmhouse restaurant is set in the magical Roger’s Gardens in the heart of Newport Beach. Technically, Corona del Mar. The restaurant boasts a farm-to-table, field-to-fork dining experience with super fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. The folks from Miramonte shared that this was one of the reasons they chose to hold the meeting here – because like the Farmhouse’s Chef Rich Mead, Miramonte Chef Paul Hancock also follows the farm-to-table philosophy. At Miramonte, one can dine at Citrus and Palm, their new restaurant that features fresh and delicious local cuisine. Meanwhile, at the Tavern Bar, guests can partake of hand-crafted cocktails made with fresh ingredients grown on the property.
The gals from Miramonte and Diamond PR prepared a little Mad Libs type game that not only gave us more information about the resort but more importantly, made us all want to go – right then and there! How can one resist the charms of a little desert oasis set against the backdrop of the Santa Rosa mountains?
Me? I’m psyched about the Well Spa! So I’m planning my escape. Good thing they’ve got some neat specials this summer including a Buy 1 Room, Get the 2nd Room Half Off sale through August 31st
