Is it strange that the highlight of any trip to Knott’s Berry Farm for me is lunch or dinner at Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant? Well, the rides and all the shows at the park are fun too, but there is something really comforting about the food served at Mrs. Knotts from the freshly baked rolls to the fried chicken (of course) to the mashed potatoes and the pie at the end. And of course, the thirst-quenching Boysenberry Punch. Visiting Knott’s Berry Farm and dining at Mrs. Knott’s gives this immigrant a taste of Americana. Let me say, it feels good.
