
For the last few years, I have worked on the following events annually: Surf City Surf Dog, Taste of Huntington Beach, Spirit Run and Festival Ballet Theatre productions. To get optimal event marketing results, I like to get involved at least two months before the event will take place. This way, we can not only create a social media promotional strategy but we can also see what other partnerships we can leverage with sponsors and attendees. During the event, I am in charge of coverage and documentation, coordinating traditional media and social media influencers in attendance. Often I also end up being an event spokesperson.
