The owl did it. The cute Hootsuite mascot is just one of the endearing things about the social media dashboard for me. But more than that, it is HootSuite’s functionality that has me hooting like raving owl fan. Personally, it is the social media dashboard that I am most comfortable using. From my HootSuite dashboard, I can read my feeds for Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and even Google+! I can also monitor for mentions, and schedule posts. The interface is simple to read and attractive to the eyes.

I’ve tried other pricier social media management tools and while each tool has its own merits, for my personal use, I have always used HootSuite. You can set up a personal HootSuite account for FREE, but if you are a social media professional like I am and managing several accounts, a PRO account is a must. It starts at $8.99 a month with a 30-day FREE trial. For bigger companies, the Enterprise version is definitely worth considering. You can also create reports within HootSuite,

What does this mean for consumers? Hopefully, it means the continued service and development of a social media tool that we have all come to know and love.
