    I Love Lucy Live at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts is a Retro Treat!

    On opening night at the Segerstrom Center, we are transported to the 1950s and we find ourselves at Desilu Studios for a taping of two episodes of “I Love Lucy.” It is sweet and quaint. Life seemed so much simpler then and the ladies fashions so pretty! (I want pedal pushers to come back now!) “I Love Lucy” Live brings to life two episodes of the classic television show.   • “As You Like It” by The Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles

    When I received the invitation from Davidson and Choy to see The Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles’ production of “As You Like It” by William Shakespeare, at The Japanese Garden on the grounds of the VA West Los Angeles Healthcare Center, I decided to take my family and make it a weekend of it.
