You don’t have to be a community manager or social media maven to know that inspirational quotes create engagement in the digital space. It’s true, just look at all those shared, re-tweeted, re-posted, re-grammed pretty pictures with words telling you to hold your head up high, never give up, and be positive. People like to be inspired! That’s why every TED Talk (Technology, Entertainment, Design) gets lots of views and every TED conference is well attended.
And that is why I look forward to the TEDx Orange Coast conference held in our neck of the woods every year. But more than being inspired in my head and heart, it is seeing all these beautiful minds who have gone beyond their heads and hearts and have actually put their ideas into action.
